| Does anyone know if Greencine charges you for a DVD that gets lost in the mail? I've contacted member support numerous times about the issue and no one seems to want to respond to me. |

You have? That's very odd. Usually I get a reply to my email within hours if I contact them. I have not heard of them charging for missing DVDs, before. I think that's almost industry standard, now. |

The first time I e-mailed they responded to me immediatly, but unfortunatly whomever was responding misunderstood my message so I further explained my problem. The second time they said they would look to see if my DVD was received that day and they would get back to me. No one ever got back to me and it still says the DVD has not been received on my queue page. I've sent a couple messages since then asking about being charged for a DVD I returned that never got to them and no one has responded. I'm worried because I cancelled my membership for the time being and I don't want to be charged for the DVD if this is not settled before my grace period is over. Maybe I'll just try e-mailing again. |

Hi JCarroll1,
Sorry to hear that customer service has been slow in getting back to you. I'll have them look at this issue and hopefully have them get back to you by tomorrow (Friday).
Thanks for your patience,

| I think they're gonna be stuck on that island forever! More flashbacks for Kate, but they only served to deepen her mystery... where do you think she picked up all those commando shooting skills? All that trouble just to get at a toy...a toy AIRPLANE! |

Thank you for your help. Now hopefully my last return doesn't take two weeks to get there. |

| Same here... I can't seem to help but wonder why my movie rental return has yet to reach Greencine. Everyday I have been logging on to Greencine checking and hoping that my queue is running up again soon. It's been almost a week and a half since I last return my rental. I think you're not the only one here that seems to have this problem. This is the first time it happen to me and I sure hope someone out there knows this answer. |

| Just to add a little fuel, I emailed support this morning as I had a movie that hadn't shown up after a week, either...I didn't hear back. That's the first time I haven't heard back immediately about this issue. But the movie finally showed up today, so, uh, peace. |

Great to hear the movie arrived! And of course, even if we are sometimes lightning fast in response, you do have to allow 24 hours for a response from our support staff. Not as fast as you always want perhaps, but still pretty darned fast.
Doesn't this count as a response? ;-)
Peace out! |

Craig, if this your new "catch" phrase for 2006, I'm sorry to have to tell you this man, but you're a couple of years behind. Just trying to help you out bro.
As for myself, I'm trying to bring back an even older catch phrase, "Peace in the Middle-East!" To date, it's not catching on fire as I had anticipated. Move over. :-D |
