You're one of the first in line for this title. We just ordered more copies so you should get it shortly!

With I think just a single exception over the past several months, there has been no change in the orange and yellow colorbar status, and no movement, in roughly the top third of my queue.

Is this because they aren't coming back to you at all, or are they actually circulating but I'm way down the priority lists for each of these titles?

If they aren't coming back, can you please send out reminders?

Hi cbrim,

Unfortunately I had to mark a few of these titles as "no longer available", including Devilman and Incredible Kung Fu Mission. A few more copies of those anime series you're waiting for are on the way - thanks for your patience!

We will certainly try our best! Give us a little time to sort through this list and you will see new stuff popping into your queue, if these items are available and budget allows of course.

I'll look into it! Should have enough of those, might need to give the current renters a gentle push to free them up. Thanks for your patience.

Any chance of Disc 1 of Sliders Season 1?

I think I've actually had this in queue almost since I started here (3 years ago), so I might miss it there at the top. :D (I'd like to see it, but not enough to do something proactive like buy it, watch it on hulu, or have a friend rent me it from netflix in exchange for something they won't carry)

Yeah, I'm new here myself--only the last week--can anyone give me an idea of exactly how many days/weeks/months you've had to wait for a blue, yellow, orange, red-status title to arrive?? (well, I assume some of those "red" items are ones we're ALL still waiting for...).

I'm new here myself--just the last week--and immediately filled up my queue with all the movies that I hadn't been able to rent from my local library/Netflix. However, I was surprised and a little disappointed at how many Oranges and Yellows I've been seeing (my tastes are pretty eclectic, hopefully I can avoid complete mockery by including my wish list):

REDs:
Gone In 60 Seconds (1974 original -- yes, I know this isn't supposed to be any kind of classic, I'm just curious).
Nightmare City (1980 --I've heard this isn't that good, I guess I just like zombie flicks).

ORANGEs:
After Dark My Sweet
Benny's Video
Candy (1968)
Enigma Of Kaspar Hauser
Even Dwarves Started Small
Films of Kenneth Anger, pt. 2
Girl On A Motorcycle
In The Realm Of The Senses
Kill Baby Kill
Lolita remake (YES, I've seen the original; just curious!)
Ms. 45
Nadja
Nostalghia
Putney Swope
Surviving Desire
Tales of Two Sisters
WR: Mysteries of the Organism

YELLOWs:
Alive (1993)
The Apple
Cat o' Nine Tails
Day of Wrath
Dead Or Alive
Extras: Series Finale
Fanny & Alexander, TV version (part 1)
Foot Fist Way
Hands of Orlac (1925)
Hated: G.G. Allin and...
Inglorious Bastards
Ladies and Gentlemen the Fabulous Stains
Mother of Tears
Mouth to Mouth
Return of the 5 Deadly Venoms
Score (1973)
Stalker
Stendhal Syndrome
Sunrise

I hope I can start to see SOME of these soon, I don't want to return to Netflix for any of 'em!!

I have to say, one thing I REALLY like though is that at least here, it'll list whether an item's out-of-print (unlike Netflix, where you'll have items that have been OOP for years--or tied up in legal problems--merely listed as "Save"s; I wouldn't be surprised if they have, like, "The Day The Clown Cried" on "Save" status...)

Hey Phasma, and welcome!

Thanks for your post(s) here, too.

As far as some of these titles go, we'll take a look at them and see what we can do. I know some of them are rarer titles and if they are both rare + popular, then sometimes there's a longer wait for 'em, alas. I'll pass this on to our buyer folk. But you can also always email support@greencine.com or catalog@greencine.com to ask about individual title availability.

We'll do our best to fulfill these, but of course popularity goes in waves for certain titles so things-a change, as David Mamet once wrote. Thanks for your patience.

Well, just to give an update, 3 weeks later the following have arrived (of course, I've moved around my queue since then):

*Fanny & Alexander (TV version, pt. 1)
*Hated
*Hands of Orlac
*Stendhal Syndrome
*Surviving Desire (on its way)
*Score (on its way)

Cat O' Nine Tails was shown as being on its way, but didn't show up for a few days, then reappeared at the top of my queue for some reason.

Naturally, there are some I want to see more than others; Nostalghia, WR: Mysteries of..., Girl on a Motorcycle, Candy, The Room, & Ms. 45 are all high on my list.

I've had many "yellow," "orange" or "red" titles for many, many weeks if not a few months now. Weezy, I've sent you a note and hope you might look into availability/confirm that GC still even has (a) copy/copies of some of the titles in my queue.

But I don't want to add just something for the sake of it, I want to see one of those movies. When I get a dvd I watch it and mail it back the next day. Help me out here people, I really want to see these...

I guess it's time to resuscitate this old thread again.

When you get a movie in the mail, watch it - or not, if you don't have time right then - but send it back so someone else can get a chance at it!

It isn't GreenCine that's causing all this frustration, it's careless subscribers who don't care and can't be bothered.

The issue is NOT the Greencine Customers, the issue is the Greencine Company which refuses to do inventory and clean up the color queue problem.

This thread was started in 2005. It's nearly a decade later. The issue is Greencine and their complete and utter disdain for their customers' requests and needs.

I have movies in my queue that have been the SAME EXACT COLOR since 2006. It's just not possible.

Silencio is absolutely right--it's foolish to keep blaming customers for the preponderance of non-Green titles being available. Many of these discs are either no longer available or were never available in the first place...they're simply "wish" selections now, as in "I sure wish I could rent that!"

I currently stand at 32 Green titles in my queue of 332 discs...when they're gone so am I if these others I've had on request for years now don't start turning up.
