Mail coming a little later than before? This may be why

I saw this in my local newspaper. Thought it is of interest since we're always claiming USPS is to blame for delivery delays.

This problem is getting worse. My Greencine discs are now taking the whole week to arrive. One day I never got the mail. Even more ridiculous, I got notice of a parking ticket two weeks after it was mailed and that was 4 days after the due date. I went from owing $10 to $76 because of this. (I'm innocent of course and am appealing the ticket.)

In my neighborhood, we just have to put up with the carrier who delivers packages to the right house number on the wrong street, once or twice a month. 95% accuracy isn't too bad, I guess.

I'm also seeing much longer times for greencine receiving my dvd's after I drop them in my local mailbox as well as receiving dvd's from greencine.
