I see that the DVD release for the conclusion to Shingu: Secret of the Stellar Wars (Vol. 5) was 11/29/05! Those for for Volumes 6, 7, and 8 of Stellvia: Foundation were 8/05, 10/05, and 12/05. Especially given the inevitably long queue time once you do obtain these, why the unforgivable wait? Do you really mean to leave hanging those of us who quickly watched what you do deign to offer? Are you, like some fickle TV network, dropping these, each on a cliff-hanger? Eight to twelve months is unforgivable, especially since they aren't really worth the $90 or so to purchase, and then get stuck owning a just fragment of each series, from Amazon.
Gankutsuou 6: Count of Monte Cristo is due for release Tuesday, September 12. Can we count on GC for year wait on top of queue time for that one as well?
Should GC, in its anime policy, commit to singles or to full series, never to broken sequences?

Hi there, I might be missing something here, but we do have Stellvia volumes 6, 7 and 8.
Gankutsuou 6: Count of Monte Cristo is already listed as "rent" and will be available when it releases in a week.
The first one, Shingu 5, you're right, we should have it - we'll make sure that happens. Sorry for any inconvenience there.
If you spot any others like this, feel free to drop a line to dvdrequest@greencine.com and you can cc: me at craig@greencine.com if you wish.
Best, CP

And it looks like GC may have missed the 7.7 imdb rated Japan's Longest Day (Nihon no ichiban nagai hi -- 1967 Kihachi Okamoto), released today. I don't see it in "New and Coming."
Mifune in story of Japan's decision to surrender.
Sources: Tuesday Chronicle and Amazon. Amazon gives the studio as Animeigo with ASIN B000GDIBQG. |

Hi!
Thank for the notice. We have adjusted the entry for Japan's Longest Day and should receive it soon, so queue it up! It's always helpful to have eagle-eyed members such as you, it keeps this community strong. Thanks again!

| My current beef: why isn't Saiyuki Reload Gunlock vol 3 available for rent yet? It came out a couple weeks ago, and its here with a "buy" on it. But no rent, and no request. Come on, you've already got the previous 20 discs (or whatever it is). Whens this one coming? |

Good Morning!
Sorry for the inconvenience Yowanda. I've updated the page for Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, vol. 3. It's agreed that since we have the other volumes we should make available the new ones. We will continue to do the best job we can of maintaining continuity with any particular series. Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, vol. 3 will be arriving shortly so add it to your requests.
Thanks Yowanda!

It's interesting how the Japanese page for Yakiniku is like a yard long, while Germany's page is barely a paragraph. There's a French page that none of the other ones link to except for the Swedish one.
NONE of them link to any page in Korean about table-grilled meat dishes that originated in Korea, although they all mention the Korean origins of Yakiniku. Only the Japanese one has a link to: The Food Culture of Korea at the bottom.
I guess the Koreans are disdainful of the Japanese version of BBQ, so did not create a "yakiniku" article... |

...vol. 4 and vol. 5 are on the way, but unfortunately vol. 6 is not available to us just yet. Keep your eyes open, as it does have a release date of November 7th!
