Every time I've logged into the site in the past week it's been fun trying to navigate my way through in the ever changing layout, but when are you cats gonna be done monkeyin' with this beast so as to end all my maze like wandering to get from place to place?

Peace-

Am I the only one getting *frequent* 404 "you don't have permission to view this directory" messages?

I'm pretty sure the site is still under construction. There are supposed to be new bulletin boards that are open to the rest of the Internets.

I've had some 404s and I'd probably have had more if I didn't stick to the old familiar links.

We are beginning to settle down a bit and are solving use issues, etc. Yes, we will have open bulletin boards soon. As you can see, we just re-skinned the site and will actually provide multiple skins to choose from for registered and logged in users.

We appreciate the GC community and loyal customer base in bearing with us as we're trying to move forward.

The general idea we have is to set up a number of base pages for different constituencies (rental members, festival goers, etc.). We're also setting up capabilities for user contributed content/ability to share content.

In any case, please drop me a line at dwoo@greencine.com if you have questions or suggestions about where we're taking greencine.

best--

I uploaded a new icon using the new "account" interface the other day, and it won't show up on the discussion boards... BTW, greencine is missing that little check box where you swear on your mother's name that the image you're uploading isn't porn or copyright protected.

And Ursus, don't call me Yeti. Isn't it more likely to be Bigfoot where you are? Sasquatch?

Dennis,

Thank you kindly for your attention on this matter, as the work that's done, what we see and what we don't, is greatly appreciated. I can tolerate the inconvenience till the fine tunings done; I was frustrated by the "guest director" feeling I kept getting each day, it was like going from surreal to cubist to impressionist to street graffiti.

No Worries.
