ha ha, imagine having to explain why you received "Tridget the Midget, She Squirts!" to your wife!

I have a feeling the emails I sent to support have a lot of company in the inbox.

The second one was something like "Bring It On" and was described as a Cheerleader Porn Parody.

Yep, could have been much, much worse.

Has anyone else been experiencing a sudden decline in DVDs actually arriving since the new envelops/processing center?

Not sure if it is more local to me here in the bay area, CA or is it widespread? I saw a few threads last week but they are gone now.

I had one DVD go missing right after the switch over and also one broken DVD, but otherwise it's been okay. I had an empty slot yesterday and nothing got shipped, but something did ship today.

I have been waiting a week for "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale."

The last 2 weeks has been one long fail parade for me. Missing disks in both directions and mangled envelopes. No broken disk amongst the ones that actually made it through though.

Yeah, I have not received my last 3 shipments, all mailed out over a week ago. Support has kindly sent out replacements, but if those never arrive either then...???

Also, I just realized that the usual Tues newsletter did not show up in my email yesterday.

Finally got two DVDs the past couple of days. I looks like the post office machines do not like how the small edge of the mailer is open. One of the mailers I received was torn up from that open edge pretty badly. Comparing to the red mailers that I also get, the red ones are closed along that edge... Either way hopefully things get better and the DVDs that are not making it to be at least eventually make it back to Greencine.

Hey guys, we definitely are working on a new envelope design for the next batch and working with the post office with the issues with the damaged discs. Thanks all for your patience.

There was an error with the send-out late Tuesday night - it should have arrived to everyone's inboxes on Wednesday but here's an archived version just in case: http://pravda.greencine.com/newsletter417.htm. Really great review of Sleeping Beauty in this edition, which I'm curious to see.

I see I'm not the only one having problems. I had a disc (Hyper Police) sent to me on November 7th and have yet to receive it...or a response to the two e-mail I sent customer service informing them it was lost. Hope it'll be removed from my queue soon so I can (finally!) get another DVD sent.

I think they forget to feed the hamster that checks the customer service inbox.

I am also awaiting a response/action on a movie sent about 11 days ago, and another that was sent back 10 days ago.

I haven't received "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale," sent on November 21, and the "Jane Eyre" disc I sent back on November 23 has not been marked as received.

Sorry to hear about the delay guys. No hamsters were harmed in the process of you not receiving emails - we're all caught up but we're looking into an email issue that might be preventing us from receiving your emails, so sorry about that. I've cleared up all your checked-out lists but please PM me if you want replacements.

I guess, in a small way, it's good to hear that I'm not the only one having difficulties lately. I've been waiting for a bonus features DVD from a movie I've already seen (which is annoying enough - it's not an actual movie) for close to two weeks now after e-mailing support twice, Greencine Staff through a PM on here, and "weezy" once through PM.

Knowing that I'm not the only one having this issues is solace in some way.

I've still got two titles MIA and no response from Support after 3 or 4 emails.
"Song From the Second Floor" has not arrived after 2 weeks and "Carrie" has not arrived after 10 days.

But there is some good news, "Serial Mom" arrived in just 2 days.

They sent me "A Cat in the Brain" on November 22, but I haven't received it. I wonder if I should use quick reply.

DLeonard and Gazelezag - I've freed up your checked out list. In the future, you can initiate a quick return but be sure to let support know the disc is actually missing because we need to mark it as "lost" for our records. Thanks!
