Then it's clear that the fronts of those mailers got torn off in USPS handling. This gets filed under "stuff happens".

So at this point what do I do?

We've been round and round for years about their poor mailer design; USPS hates them, because they get crumpled and torn, and clog up their sorting machines.

The more significant problem with this is the discs that get damaged, and are thus no longer available to subscribers.

I don't know - usually they email notices and update queues in the afternoon (in California). Something ought to go out today, if your queue is mostly green. If they don't send anything today, contact "Customer Service" - but don't hold your breath waiting for a response.

I had an open slot yesterday (with plenty of green rated titles in my top 100) and nothing shipped, but today a non-green was sent out to me. Yesterday may have been another "technical difficulties" day.

I've had 4 open slots since Friday is the thing.

I finally did get a response 1/28 that someone was going to work on my queue.Even then, still took over another 24 hours for anything to finally get something sent out. Mind you for 3rd shipment in a row green titles were skipped yet again. All but given up on sorting queue on here.As 3 shipments in a row green titles have been skipped.

I had a non-green title ship today! (Even The Rain (2010))

Bluffing, you are the only person I've ever heard on here actually complaining that he is is getting shipped other colors besides Green! If you look through old posts, you'll find most complaints (mine included) are about almost never receiving any other color availability titles except Greens. Consider yourself lucky you're getting these other colors, because most people here get them rarely, if at all.

I'm not saying other colors are being shipped instead.i'm seeing Green titles in slots 1-4 being skipped for a Green in slot 7 or 8.

Oh jeez, that's even more terrible...now it seems the Green titles here aren't even instantly available either!

> Cinenaut, when you're down to non-green titles that you really want to see, the problem with adding green titles to your queue just to get something rather than nothing, is that by getting a green, you're losing the possible opportunity for a non-green, if one might come available, for up to a week to 10 days transit time to you and back. Who knows if you might have lost out on a yellow or orange that you would have been up for during that time.

Wow, that's a strategy I hadn't even considered. For a long time, Greencine was my only source of films (besides Blockbuster), so I didn't really consider holding out for harder-to-get DVDs. Now I've got a couple of streaming alternatives (Netflix and Amazon), so the pressure to get something is not as urgent.

On the other hand, by putting a bunch of non-green at the top of the queue, with green from slots 90 to 100, I've been seeing classics of film history, like Ozu, Bergman and Bela Tarr, that I might not have watched because I was watching some other more "hot" title.

Regarding other sources for me - Netflix won't take any payment method from me for some reason, and I don't have reliable internet for stream.Nor do I have local rental shop.I also am not a new release junkie so redbox isn't viable option either.

Frustrating.

Not to mention the fact sorting the queue is out the window.Since now Green titles are even being skipped.Blockbuster is cheaper but with 3 at a time max and no local store can't purely go there.Nor does it make sense to pay for more out here.Since I'm having to play the guessing game at every stage. Not knowing what will be sent out, when it will be sent out, what will get to me, or what will actually get back.
