After 48 hours, I finally had movies released to shipping on Friday.Of course, based on the site none were sent out.Meaning, either the site is wrong or it will be Monday at the earliest before anything is sent out.Keep in mind, I live on the East coast.

So on the low end I am looking at 7+ days without anything.Still can't get a hold of them by email (tried earlier and still bouncing back undeliverable)

Just wondering if anyone else is having a similar experience this week or if it is just my luck?

The SAME, EXACT thing has happened to me this week...after having already happened to me at the end of last week, also. On Thursday morning, I hit the "Quick Return" button, and on Friday evening, a title with "Released to Shipping" was added to my rentals...but it NEVER SHIPPED! It's Saturday evening now and it's still at the "RTS" designation.

I just sent the below email to GC Customer Service:

Last week I wrote to you with a complaint that although I had plenty of "Green" titles in my queue, it took you 4 days to send me a title from it.

This week it has happened yet again.

Upon indicating on Thursday morning that I had returned my latest rental to you, by Friday evening you had only "Released To Shipping" a title for me, but as it is now Saturday evening and still at the same status, it has NOT been shipped.

This means that it will be another 4 days until you actually ship this disc to me on Monday, which means that since I live on the East Coast, it will likely be another 4 or 5 days until I even receive this.

This is really poor customer service on your part, or perhaps customer service is not a priority at Greencine anymore?

You're doing a great job...if you want to lose members, that is.

Because I had so few Greens in my GC queue, I went to the trouble of removing NF "short waits" and adding them here, figuring if they were Green here at GC I'd at least get them. But if it's gonna take these people this long to send me a title, making me wait what will likely be about 9 days (give or take a day), what's the use? I might as well just re-add them to my NF queue.

My email with the above message to Greencine was just returned to me as "Delivery to the following recipients failed" (the "support@" address).

"This just keeps gettin' better and better!"

Like I said in other thread, the email bounceback started happening like day of or day after Greencine took my money.Thought about filling out a BBB form.As with the inability to actually get a hold of them means an affadavit is useless.

Have already clicked cancel account, less than 1 shipment in.Don't want to forget and pay more money to this company.Unless it's just server problems and I am actually going to get something.Even then, why don't they communicate.

Posted on their FB wall on the 1/100 chance it actually reaches a human.

Blockbuster - slower than greencine and can only have 3 out
Netflix - won't take my card and was called a fugitive by a CSR, and threatened/ignored by supervisors
Local library closed
No local video rental
Not a new release guy
Cafedvd has a worse selection than greencine.

Shame I apparently wasted $20 for nothing.

As far as emailing them, remember they don't ship on Saturday so Mon-Fri best bet to get to them (if the email can actually reach them).

Very bizarre thing has happened regarding my latest rental that was only indicated to be "released to shipping" on Friday (and all weekend)...

Evidently it DID ship after all because I received it today, so obviously someone on GC's end neglected to push whatever button they needed to to change it's status to "shipped."

Nice to get it in 4 days, which is acceptable for an item coming all the way across the country. Would be nice if they'd train their staff a little more thoroughly to cut down on customer worry, though.

I have over 100 titles in my list and have not received one in 3 weeks. What am I paying for? They say I should pick titles that are more available, like films I don't want to see!! Cherrybomb

That is precisely the #1 flaw with this rental service--Greencine has titles they CLAIM are available for rental because they allow you to add them to your queue...

but the truth is, if they're not Green, THEY NEVER GET SHIPPED!

It's total deception to have 90% of your requests (the "not Green" ones) NEVER get shipped. I believe another term for this practice is known as "bait and switch." I'm not entirely sure if it's illegal, but I know for certain it's unethical.

I quick returned everything Thursday and nothing was sent out Friday, so i have to wait until Monday until anything is even sent out.Meaning theres a chance the movies I mailed back will get there before anything gets here.Week+ without movies, even though i had a dozen+ of greens.

The email address they have on the site for you to request movies to pickup etc is full so it bounces back to you.
