Howdy!

Well, I can assure you we have a good number of people working in shipping, and they are extremely efficient and reliable. They really are. And we definitely do expand that dept. at a good ratio based on reaching specific levels of customer numbers. That doesn't mean there aren't snafus or that issues don't come up with the mail -- but they are 99% of the time related to USPS error or delays. (They, too, are human, of course, so we try to be forgiving, but there are times when they are extremely frustrating to deal with, even incompet...er, no, I shouldn't say anything we'll get in trouble for.) But when issues come up, we've tried, and are trying, and will try, to straighten them out -- by adapting, changing our processes, whatever it takes to get things there as fast as possible. Especially while we do maintain solely one shipping center.

Sorry for any mailtime delays you may have suffered but just know that we do what we can on our end to resolve them.

And, hey, unlike some places, we do work/ship on Saturdays! (Not Sundays, but our shipping folks need that day to recover from the rest of the week.)

All the best,

We dont need no stinking unions :)

If they go on strike we dont get dvd's.

What they need is some sort of mutant with 10 arms.

Hah! That would be awesome. (We already have a few dust spirits rolling around the office.)

Well, not to spoil the fantasy here, but y'all do realize that um, "shipping monkeys" was just a nickname -- one that was just a throwaway joke when GC first started but then latched on for awhile. We just decided it was not respectful enough to the incredible job our shipping folks do so we removed it. It really is the same people as before. And hey, either way they're primates. Also, the Monkey Union is really tough -- they would've broken our backs, and man, you should've seen the benefits package they were demanding!

We just said "Fly monkey fly!" And that was the end of that. ;-)

OK, guys, just ignore underdog, because he's still spouting that "we never had real monkeys working here!" nonsense.

Okay, having been inspired, I had my army of twelve monkeys do my bidding. Which, technically, is not an army but half of an (official) Army platoon. A bit more than a squad, numbers of which can be changed at the platoon commander's discretion. Anyway.
My army flings crap. Heck, I fling crap. And I always return my DVDs as promptly as possible and will even go out of my way to find a post office which will deliver quickly. So, its not GC, and I don't think its me between poop playing bouts, so it must be the Republican and Democrat bureaucratically run machine we call the Post Office. Or blame it on someone who isn't here. That always works for me.

I wash my hands. I swear I do.

i dunno. it seems to me that I get a disc just as soon as the last one comes in. And the first two discs that got shipped were both red! It does pay to have even red ones at the top of your queue.

Thank you, Greencine!!!

Not if if they are treated right! Believe you me, living in a so-called "right to work" (i.e. no teeth for unions) and fire-at-will state (Texas), a strong union sounds like a far away dream.

Ah, Mr. powers is perhaps referring to the story of The White Rabbit of Inaba, a charming tale from Japanese mythology! Does Mr. powers like rabbits? They certainly are cute! Maybe he likes powered rabbits! Ha!
