Straight from an inside source at a Hollywood studio's independent studio, word is that Roman Polanski, the Academy Award-winning Polish-French film director, writer, actor, and producer, may be temporarily allowed back in the United States soon after 30 years away. Polanski has been considered by US authorities to be a fugitive from justice since 1978 after pleading guilty to the rape of a 13 year old girl. He's been looking for a project that would put him back on the good side of the American government, and allow him to be considered again for American citizenship but the US will likely not allow him to stay beyond the three months needed to complete a new project.
