Horrorfest: 8 Films to Die For (2006)
List creator: EmpressStephanie
Created on: January 21, 2008 - 5:53 PM PST
Description: The Annual Horror Movie Festival by After Dark Films. This list is mostly for reference for horror fans to find all these movies in one place. Some of these movies are excellent but some of them are complete garbage. I'll update this list as I watch.

The Abandoned (2007)
Amazing. This film doesn't really seem like it belongs in this pack. Very impressive, very scary, very well done. This was the fan favorite last year with very good reason.
Reincarnation (2005)
Also well done, compared (perhaps unfairly) to the Grudge. Pretty standard in the way of Japanese horror films - definitely worth seeing.
The Hamiltons (2006)
I liked it but probably not for everyone. I'd say this is horror for people who just like horror. I'd say it's a low budget horror version of American Beauty.
The Gravedancers (2006)
Don't let the concept (oooooo... dancing on a grave gets you haunted) turn you off to this movie. It's got some excellent pop up scares. Really fun movie.
The Tripper (2007)
Hilarious. Slasher farce poking fun at hippies and conservatives. Worth the rental.
Dark Ride (2006)
This was a bonus movie at last year's festival. College kids roam an abandoned amusement park horror themed ride unknowingly inhabited by a psycho killer. Pretty standard slasher movie, enjoyable for fans of the genre.
Unrest (2006)
This one missed the boat but I suppose it's worth watching.
Penny Dreadful (2006)
(I have yet to see this one I'll update the list when I do.)
Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror (2006)
This is another bonus movie. (I have yet to see this one I'll update the list when I do.)
Wicked Little Things (2006)
Not Rated
Might actually be the worst movie I've ever seen. Watch it only if you are a glutton for garbage horror.
