Spring Forward (2000)
  see my review
George Washington (Criterion Collection) (2000)
Stunning cinematography coupled with a truly unaffected amateur cast. You can't take your eyes of of this not so perfect but genuinely interesting work.
Snatch (2000)
you'll choke on your chicken wings and die laughing when Brad Pitt unleashes his preposterous (and completely unintelligible) Irish Gypsy accent!s
Monsoon Wedding (Criterion) (2001)
Truly great acting from the entire cast. Comedy, Drama and arranged marriage in a foreign (for me) land. I didn't think I'd like it but I was totally taken in.
Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter Jr. (1999)
Like watching a car wreck, you can't avert your eyes from this pitiable and reprehensible man.
From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)
Ranks with Night of the Living Dead in my humble opinion. Funny as hell!
Punch-Drunk Love (2002)
Well, actually you may have seen this one but if not, go get it. An artful and powerful portrait of a lonely man.
Swingers (1996)
Not quite as good as "Made" but then again, "Made" was created 5 years later. Still a worthy venture into the true world of LA batchelorhood.
Made (2001)
Great story, great deadpan acting, absolutely drop dead funny. Favreau & Vaughn are a sum greater than their individual parts!
Office Space (1999)
Don't be contented with the chopped up and butchered edited for TV version. Make sure you treat yourself to one of the great modern workplace comedies!
Brother's Keeper (1992)
Rivetting documentary depicting an eccentric back-country band of elderly and reclusive brothers. But the movie doesn't stop there! You get a dramatic courtroom drama as a bonus!
Garden State (2004)
See my review of this sweet, charming, humanitarian, existential and filmed in my beautiful NJ!!! Unless you love to wallow in your cynicism you will definitely be affected by this memorable and lovingly crafted work.
Donnie Darko (2001)
Original and not easily digestible. This creative qnd quirky flim was released on 9/11/01 and was quite naturally ignored. Take some time to explore it now.
