Richard Farnsworth travels from Iowa to Wisconsin on his John Deere lawnmower. A surprisingly sweet film from the usually puckish David Lynch.
	Jacob's Ladder (1990)
Tim Robbins moves through a shifting, dreamlike reality. A heavy film, but -- wow -- it is exceptionally well done right up until the (overly explanatory) very end. Very surreal, with primally frightening imagery, and great performances.
