	The Ice Storm (1997)
This is just one of those movies that you catch late at night and get sucked in with. At least I did, even before I knew that it was directed by Ang Lee to boot. Great cast at their best.
	The Red Violin (Meridian Collection) (1998)
My girlfriend raved about this movie when she watched it. I was immediately suspect of her claims. Shhh! Well, she was right (for once).
	Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996)
Again, my GF saw part of this and wanted to get it and see the whole thing with me. With a title like that how could I say no. To my surprise it wasn't smut, but a truly good film. Should I be sad or happy?
	Dancer in the Dark (2000)
For Christ's sake... You probably have heard others talk about it, and you may have started to watch it and stopped part way through. Watch it all. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
	Buena Vista Social Club (1998)
I'm not a big fan of latin/salsa music and really got sick of the "you aren't cool unless you've seen..." crowd in SF circa 1999 raving about this. I'll be damned. This is a great story! I ended up getting the DVD-Audio soundtrack.
	Donnie Darko (2001)
I'm still not /really/ sure about this movie. I should watch it again, but it has popped into my head a couple of times while on this list so I'll add it. Different. Good? Love it or hate it. Your choice.
	The City of Lost Children (1995)
Yes, Delicatessen and even Amelie should immediately follow this movie. I'm lazy. Sue me. This is the best of them IMHO, so watch it. You already have... I know.
	Amores Perros (2000)
Wasn't expecting anything from this when I rented it. What a pleasant surprise! Actually, less "pleasant" and more of a surprise. Not in the bad way though. It's a vicious movie, but a rewarding film.
	Winter Sleepers (1997)			Not Rated
This could have been Run Lola Run's spot, but you've seen that 3 times already. Watch this instead. It sports the same director. Then head over and check out The Princess and the Warrior. It's all good.
	Six Degrees of Separation (1993)
Based on a play, this movie is one I'll almost always watch if I catch it part way through. Will Smith acting serious? Yeah, and he does swell. Great cast and compelling story.
