My first Takashi Miike movie. My favorite part was when 3/4ths of the audience walked out. Now this is a chick flick.
	Branded to Kill (Criterion Collection) (1967)
The best Suzuki. And a naked Jo. Who could ask for anything more?
	Cure (1997)
I had to watch this a few times to really get the ending, but it was a pleasure everytime.
	Dead or Alive 2 (2000)
And this is my favorite Miike movie (so far). Riki and Sho, with wings. Trancendent.

Heaven and hell. Mifune and Nakadai are great in this, and it's like two movies in one.
	Seven Samurai (Criterion Collection) (1954)
The Greatest Movie I've ever seen. It has everything. Don't let the 3 hour length put you off, it really flies by.

I think this is Nakata's best. I've liked his other movies, but I really loved this one. The ending is great.

Another movie that made me seek out all the director's stuff, though I think this is his masterpiece. The kind of movie that, even though you know how it will end, you keep hoping it won't.

Kitano is stoic, deadpan, and insane...and so in love with his wife. A great mix of crazy violence and friendship and love.
