No flesh-eating zombies here. A strangely contemplative film about American BIKERS who playact the Arthurian legend. Gore makeup king Tom Savini doesn't have much to do here, so he plays Morgan (not in drag)! A young Ed Harris is SO very noble...

My favorite. Rocking soundtrack! Crawling with Boticellic French beauties! It's like a medieval beer (or mead, I guess) commercial. La Pucelle de la Tente and La Pucelle qui rit are especially HOT! The Grail looks like a lamp from IKEA.

A 2 DVD operatic bladder buster! At one point our heroes camp out in Wagner's nostrils (part of the set is a humongous replica of the composer's death mask). Directed by Hans-Jurgen Syberberg who also did the 450min. Our Hitler: A Film from Germany

Another French take on the Arthurian legend, you should rent this masterpiece immediately if you don't already own it! Fetchez la vache!

Finally a bonus disc that's worth renting! Includes a quest undertaken by the now rather elderly pythons Terry Jones and Michael Palin to revisit some of the locations (which nearly kills them). A Camelot musical number is faithfully redone using LEGOs!

John Boorman's visionary extravaganza cursed us forever with CarminaBurana abuse (b-movies, commercials). Orff's music was set to the poetry of the Goliards, vagabond medieval students who'd want nothing to do with a round table unless it was in a tavern.

Same source material as Excalibur, Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte D'Arthur. That's all I know. They better not have abused Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio again!

Hey, when he was younger, Dumbledore could sing! But unfortunately MacARTHUR Park is not included in the extras.

My favorite appearance of the Holy Grail itself. When Belldandy, Urd and Skuld sing their healing aria to restore the Universe's OS, there it appears, in all its winged glory! Who needs those old farts Arthur, Lancelot, et al when you can have GODDESSES!
