I'll never forget being a 9 year old and waking up to the last 20 minutes of this movie. Crazed out of my wits!
	The X-Files: Season 4 (disc 1 of 7) (1993)
I'm not an X-Files nut, but the 3rd episode of the 4th season, "Home," is terrifying. It's a stand-alone episode that has nothing to do with the "mythology" of the series so there is no need to know anything about the rest of the series.

Very dark and detached piece by Kubrick even if it does get corny towards the end (it is King after all).

While a bit formulaic at times this film contains some great visuals and Ted Levine's excellent voice over work.
