This is a GREAT anime. It has a ton of action, some comedy, and even a little romace. Something for eveyone. I just hate that each DVD contains only 3 episodes. For an anime with 128+ episodes already, that's a lot of DVD's to rent/buy.

The english dub isn't so bad. The voice actors are really good, and I love the voice actor for Inu Yasha. Kagome fits too. The little kids, however, sound so much cuter in the Jap versions.

The score to this anime is awesome. It is so moving. I love it. I love the opening theme, and thje sound tracks are amazing. The music is never cheesy. It's cute at times, but never cheesy.

I like this anime because it has a solid plot that moves along. Yes, there is a lot of demon slaying, but at least the plot moves along. There is a really nice underlying story going on.

It really kills me that there are only 3 epsidoes per DVD, b/c 1. Most of my favorite episodes are not out on DVD yet, and 2. This is only a minor sampling of the series. It gets so much better as it goes along.

Before you judge this anime, watch at least 6 episodes in order. After 6, you should get a good sampling of what is going on.

It's not until a few episodes after this that the series really hit me. When your eyes water and your heart aches for a character, that's when you know you have a great story. I would love to be able to write in a way that sucks you in like this series.
