Interesting, but not as strong as The Wind Will Carry Us, which was more like Waiting for Godot in Iran, with gorgeous cinematography.

I saw this because I'm interested in Far From Heaven, which draws on this Sirk film. The Sirk is interesting; the ending surprised me and the sets were lovely (the converted mill, for instance). Sentimental, of course, but it is a melodrama.
