Here's an especially cool movie, deserving a special mention beyond the series. You should have seen this a long time ago.
	Kimagure Orange Road TV Series vol.1 (1987)
The other best show there is. ESP, romance, intrigue and true love! It would be better with pancakes, but not by much.

The other other best show there is. Another bounty hunter, but this time, he's on a quest! Easily as engaging as Cowboy Bebop, but not episodic. Nearly, nearly as good as CB, but not quite.

Awesome soundtrack, but that's the last reason to watch this. It's a blast. Serves only two episodes per disc, but each is incredible.

Fantasy. Interesting. Cute. Funny. Generally good. Check it out if you haven't already.
	Oh My Goddess! DVD Vol. 1 (1993)
Good, sweet, and beautiful. The show's good too. Short, but good. See the movie, too!

I know what you're thinking: another robot maid anime. Well, you're wrong! Chi (leading robot) isn't a maid. She's a computer that can do housework. Other than that, Clamp's version of the robot maid genre is worth a good, long look.

Humorous romp through the Edo-era countryside of Japan. With lots of sake. What's not to like?

A contender for "best school comedy ever"; its only competiton is School Rumble, which isn't yet available in America.

It takes a sudden, suspicious turn in the last episode on this disc, but don't worry! It's still a great show.

A traditional fantasy anime, but very well executed.
	Slayers: The Book of Spells (2001)
A different approach to the Slayers. I have to mention that Linna's English voice is one of the better voice actresses I've heard. Naga's laugh is annoying... but it's supposed to be. I liked these even more than the tv series!

The first of three animes - Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, and Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid. The ones with the "!" are action-centric, the "?" is a comedy, and I highly recommend them all.

A powerful story about life, death, and power. Don't forget about the movie once the TV series ends.
	Kino's Journey Vol. 1: Idle Adventurer (2004)
The episodes mostly stand by themselves, and often contain multiple stories that may or may not be connected. And it's totally awesome!
	Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2000)
Spooky vampire fighting blood death! The animation is awesome, and the fighting sequences are some of the best.

I love that ultra-violence, I do. Here's the violence done right, with a powerful story backing it up.
