Films for the perfect movie marathon

They include a perfect mix that is sure to please everyone. I rate all these movies 5 stars and they include many of my favorites.

	Play Misty for Me (1971)
A little known film that makes the top of my list of favorites. Riveting, psychotic and funny at times...this is the "underground" Fatal Attraction.
	Female Trouble (1975)
John Waters. Divine. Edith Massey. Need I say more? This will have you laughing after experiencing the tension of "Misty"!
	Amelie (2001)
Uplifting, humorous and inspiring. In my opinion, the best film of 2001. This film will ground you and get your optimism flowing after you've worn your vocal chords from laughing during the Water's films.
	Goodfellas (1990)
There's nothing like a good mafia film to get everyone all riled up.
	Harold and Maude (Criterion) (1971)
One of my alltime favorite films. Funny, poignant, dark and light all rolled up into one neat package.
	Audrey Rose (1977)
In comes the suspense. A little known film that takes the cake for somewhat kitschy suspense. I think this is one of the first films to address the idea of reincarnation. It is definitely a midnight movie.
	The Caveman's Valentine (2001)
Suspense. Suspense. Great acting and a stimulating plot.
	Save the Last Dance (2001)
A cute and touching film to slow down the pace a little bit.
	Poltergeist (1982)
Just when you were starting to relax...here comes one of the most disturbing films of all time. In fact, I can't watch this film again because it scares the $#@^# out of me.
	Bagdad Cafe (1987)
Kitschy, campy and interesting, this film serves as a tall drink of water after Poltergeist.
	What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)
At this point in the marathon it's probably very late. Bette Davis and Joan Crawford will provide you with a dose of noir and insanity. Keep a pen and paper handy, you'll be wanting to quote some of their lines tomorrow.
	Hideous Kinky (1998)
An airy and hopeful film to wind you down and have you dreaming of exotic and distant lands.
