Tully (2000)
12345678910
Underrated movie that really nails the pace of life in smalltown USA. Great acting, great story, great movie.
Zero Effect (1998)
12345678910
See Stiller before he was typecasted into retro physical comedy.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001)
12345678910
Hilarious and a great soundtrack. just another transvestite heavy metal lead looking for love and belonging in bilgewater USA.
Lone Star (1996)
12345678910
Chris Cooper and Kris Kristofferson are awesome here - if you can put up with Matthew McCaugheney is tolerable.
Dead Man (1995)
12345678910
Excellent Jarmusch work - brings together fabulous cinematography, acting, script is a bit deliberate, but cool piece of work.
Better Off Dead (1985)
12345678910
How can I leave out a film about another guy named Lane???
Army of Darkness (Director's Cut) (1992)
12345678910

Favorite movie line of all time - "Shop smart, shop s-mart..."
Henry Fool (1997)
12345678910
easily my favorite of the hal hartley set (and that says a lot).
Bottle Rocket (Criterion) (1996)
12345678910
Hilarious - the Wilson boys are fabulous in this one. This movie is right up there with Safe Men as a legend in the "bumbling young crimnals" genre... they need to get Safe Men in the library, by the way.
Mystery Men (1999)
12345678910
many of my favorites - macy, stiller, pee wee, garofalo, rush, azaria, etc. pee wee alone is enough to win my vote.
Donnie Darko (2001)
12345678910
one of those movies that sticks with you for weeks - i'm still trying to figure out what really happened - 'course, i AM from Iowa.., .
Croupier (1998)
12345678910

28 Days Later (2002)
12345678910
Watch with the lights on - but excellent.
