Endgame follows a young guy who is trapped in an abusive relationship with an older man. It's mainly interesting for the young man's performance and the depiction of how some people need to hurt and humiliate others without their consent.

Isabelle Hupert is the perfect choice to play the leading role of a middle-aged woman who still lives at home with her mother in an abusive relationship, visits porn shops, and meets and falls for a young student. This is an intense film not to be missed.

This funny, yet painful at times, film is one of the best film treatments of s/m. Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader take s/m into the office where their professional and personal relationship gets blurred.
