Kung Fu Zombie (1982)
Combination of western style vampire with the traditional hopping kind. Wacky if a little jumbled.
Onmyoji (2001)
Interesting interpretation of the supernatural as a reflection of personal choices,
Yokai Monsters 1: Spook Warfare (2003)
Not Rated
All those little monsters you wondered about and more! Some I couldn't even identify. What's with the girl with the arm coming out of her head?
Yokai Monsters 2: 100 Monsters (2003)
Not Rated
Disappointing after the first one. The monsters have less of a role, but the umbrella thing shows up again.
Yokai Monsters 3: Along With Ghosts (2003)
Not Rated
By far the worst of the three. Has little to do with the other two. Almost no monsters at all.
Vampire Hunters (2002)
Not the best of the genre. Loose plot around series of action scenes.
A Chinese Ghost Story (1987)
Romantic story with lots of tongue. That joke sucked.... Just don't get the animated version, it's not worth your time.
A Chinese Ghost Story II (1990)
Pretty much the same story as the last one with a few changes. I think the guy is a different actor.
A Chinese Ghost Story III (1991)
The debt collector is replaced with a monk, but the basic plot is the same. Still worth seeing for the old guy with the magic ear lobes.
The Bride with White Hair (1993)
Not Rated
  More Kung Fu than supernatural.
The Bride With White Hair 2 (1993)
Not Rated
Picks up where the other one leaves off.
Zu: Warriors of the Magic Mountain (1983)
Not Rated
  Mystical Kung Fu adventure.
Mr. Vampire (1986)
One of the best hopping vampire movies. Best when watched with both dub and subtitles for comparison.
Mr. Vampire 2 (1986)
Not nearly as impressive as the first. More of a kid's movie with that little vampire kid.
Mr. Vampire III (1987)
Not Rated
A little better than the second one. That kid's hat is kooky.
Kwaidan (Criterion Collection) (1964)
Not Rated
Good imagery, but long and very slow. Only for the patient.
The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1973)
Not Rated
A bizarre combination of Hammer and kung fu. I don't remember the vampires actually hopping, but still worth a look if your interested.
The Haunted Lantern (1997)
Not Rated
