His Girl Friday (1940)
This can't be beaten for hi-speed humour! The witty dialogue flows at light speed, and you'd better have your ears perked up to catch all of it!
It Happened One Night (1934)
Not Rated
This often gets ranked above His Girl Friday, but it's just not as fast or as funny. Still great, and Gable shows his funny side to great effect.
Duck Soup (The Marx Brothers Silver Screen Collection) (1933)
Not Rated
The anarchy and insanity that was the Marx Brothers at it's absolute best.
The Philadelphia Story (1940)
Not Rated
More talent than you can shake a stick at, Grant, Hepburn, AND Jimmy Stewart all sparkle in this brilliant work.
Arsenic and Old Lace (1944)
Not Rated
Grant AGAIN? Yep, and the laughs are non stop in this classic tale of elderberry wine and little old ladies. Not to be missed.
My Man Godfrey (Criterion Collection) (1936)
Not Rated
William Powell wasn't just Philo Vance or Nick Charles, he was simply hilarious as Godfrey, in one of the all time classics.
A Day at the Races (1937)
Not Rated
Another Marx Brothers entry, not as good as Duck Soup, but, really, what could be? Still verrry funny.
