Any geek list has to start with sci-fi, and what else than Star Wars. It's a classic. But we hate Jar Jar.

We also like to laugh at sci-fi.

We're opinionated. We hate stupid people and those that vote for them. We know Moore is biased, and can probably spot each instance of it, but we like this film anyway. (And if you like Bush, fine, go make your own geek list.)
	School of Rock (2003)
The unconventional way can work well, too. Plus, great tunes.
	Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)
We also like Star Trek, despite the sometimes predictable plots and stiff acting. Some of us live Star Trek IV; others hate it. But you have to see it at least once. (And we HATE Generations.)
	Trekkies (1997)
Geeks like this movie because (choose one): We like to laugh at ourselves This film is about dorks, NOT geeks. Get it straight! It's a big difference! And we like to laugh at dorks.
	2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Because we have a measurable attention span. And what is more of a geek icon than HAL?

Cool tunes, car chases, on-location filming, and storming Daley Plaza. What could be better?

OK, so it's silly, and none of us were ever that nerdy. Ever. (At least that's our story.) But it's still funny.
