Kiarostami's lyrical and elegant story of a man searching for help...Beautifully simple and unique...

One of my favorite Swedish films, "Wild Strawberries", is also one of Berman's more optimistic and accessible, all the while providing his characteristic beauty, depth, and resonance.

Verhoeven's graphic epic, "Soldier of Orange" was the mostly costly Dutch film ever. Don't let that dissuade you, however, this is proper "big" filmmaking and is a profoundly moving film.

Mediocre as an Allen film, and although a bit dated, "Bananas" is an enjoyable film and worth the viewing. If you're looking for a better example of this genre, opt for the Marx's "Duck Soup".

Not much to say that hasn't already been said. Two great talents, Steinbeck and Ford, combined for one of the best, if not the best, films of the 1940's. Fonda and Darwell are excellent.

With an immensely powerful performance by Poitier, "A Raisin in the Sun", in many ways, remains valid today, a testament to it's vision and scope.

A worthy adaptation and although James is a bit lackluster, the supporting cast is great. Look for Jack Skellington's cameo!
