A satirical take on corruption in politics and business, very funny and a must see. Title in English-Let's ignore it friends. Would appreciate, if someone would email me if the humor does carry over with the subtitles.

The story of Asoka, an ancient king and warrior who turned to peaceful ways. My favorite historical movie in addition to Chankaya and Discovery to India, both TV series
	Shree 420 (1955)
My favorite Raj Kapoor movie, a touching story, good B&W photography and songs.
	My Beautiful Laundrette (1985)
A drama and an insight into an era in Britain, a depiction of Immigrant Pakistani families and gay relationship between the main actors. Backdrop of an artist father.Writer: Hanif Kureshi, Director Stephen Frears
	Bend It Like Beckham (2002)
A uplifting movie, very funny, about soccer about a unconventional career for a Indian British girl. A worthy contrast is with My Beautiful Laundrette from 18 years before.

A modern day tale of growing up, friendship and love. Title in English-Heart desires...
	Bandit Queen (1994)
Based on the true story of a very infamous women dacoit. She would later became a politican. Directed by Shekhar Kapur who also directed Elizabeth
	Maine Pyar Kiya (1990)
A major blockbuster when it was released. The classical story of a boy meets a girls and lots and lots of songs thrown in.
	Pyaar kiya to Darna kya (1998)
A love story which is funny as the boy tries to convince the girl's family, one of the few Bollywood movies where the hero is made fun off too. There is a gem of a modern Qawwali, an indian classical music from muslim roots.
