John Lennon acts annoying but the cuts and "stylized death?" make this film extremely interesting to watch

Watch this version first. "redux" really showed me how well the orig was cut/edited. (redux greatly reduces the 'impact' of this movie IMHO)

Maybe a bit moralistic & simple? But it happened. Hundreds of thousands of people died. Millions of Soviets overall in the East front, which Americans know little about due to cold-war propaganda.

Loyalty & Honor. The bridge is there, in Thailand. When I was on it I was overwelmed with respect and sadness for all the people who fought & died throughout the PTO in that war.
