United 93 (2006)
Never has a movie absorbed me so completely as this one. The real time pace, the unknown and amateur actors, the familiar story, the personal perspectives, and the unforgettable tragedy combine to make this a disturbingly authentic immersive experience.
Rope (1948)
Hitchcock was the first to realize the suspense potential of a real time story. This story begins with a murder that takes place minutes before guests arrive for a dinner party. The murderers spend the course of the party trying to cover their crime.
The Set-Up (1949)
Not Rated
An over-the-hill boxer wants to win one last match. He knows his wife doesn't want him to try. He doesn't know his manager is betting on him to fail.
High Noon (1952)
A Lawman is given notice that a thug he put away is now on the 12:00 train and is coming to town to get vindication. The lawman has 2 hours to muster a posse, or face his killer alone.
12 Angry Men (Criterion) (1957)
Not Rated
12 jurors deliberate for 2 hours over the fate of a defendant accused of murder.
Cleo from 5 to 7 (Criterion Collection) (1962)
Not Rated
Cleo, a professional singer, has to wait 2 hours for the results of medical test that will indicate if she's got cancer. This has a transformational effect on the way she percieves her relationship, her career, and the world.
My Dinner With Andre (Criterion) (1981)
Not Rated
Records the conversation between two actors having dinner together in a restaurant in NYC.
Tape (2001)
Real time is a comfortable pace for a play. Movies based on plays (eg. Rope and 12 Angry Men) sometimes maintain their real time pacing. This adaptation by Richard Linklater is an example.
Running Time (1997)
Not Rated
The camera follows a released convict as he makes his first steps outside the prison in 10 years, and follows him as he starts to implement the first steps of an elaborate heist to take place less than two hours after he is released.
Timecode (2000)
Not only does the story take place in real time, but it's one continuous take. And if that stunt wasn't audacious enough, it was shot with four synchronized cameras and projected simultaneously on four quadrants of the screen.
Nick of Time (1995)
Thugs kidnap the daughter of an innocent man in an attempt to force him to assassinate a prominent politician.
Why does this sound familiar?...
24: Season 1 (Disc 1 of 6) (2001)
Not Rated
  ...Oh yeah!

--------Supplemental Viewing--------
Run Lola Run (1998)
The only movie I can think of where the duration of the story is actually shorter than the runtime of the movie.
A woman has just 20 minutes to raise a large sum of money to save her boyfriend's life.
Seinfeld: Seasons 1 & 2 (Disc 3 of 4) (1990)
Not Rated
This disc contains the famous real time "Chinese Restaurant" episode
