The Holy Mountain (1973)
12345678910
Not Rated
Colour popping, vague plot, animal exploitation, cheesy dialogue, non-subtle editing transitions. It's all there... and whacky as can be.
Danger: Diabolik (1968)
12345678910
Batman never had such a great hideout...
Weekend (Criterion) (1967)
12345678910
Road rage at its most extreme, a sensorial treat. 'Seeing' the soundtrack is a such a nifty gimmick too...
Alphaville (Criterion Collection) (1965)
12345678910
Not Rated
Wonderful dystopia when the way people connect somehow makes sense.
Barbarella (1968)
12345678910
Pretty pretty... weird set design. And wow, Fonda was a fox.
How to Draw A Bunny (2002)
12345678910
Even in death a sense of purpose, a spark of subversive behaviour. An amazing persona to be discovered.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001)
12345678910
  Berlin, Balls, Be yourself....
Crumb (Criterion) (1994)
12345678910
And you thought Rob was weird - meet the family.

12345678910
Harvey, friend of Rob, bitter lemon dude.
A Clockwork Orange (1971)

Punch-Drunk Love (2002)
12345678910
A love story that actually seems real.

12345678910
Coen Brothers when they were poor but edgy (edgier)
La Grande Bouffe (1973)
12345678910
Eating until you die. Is there a better way to go?
Vacuuming Completely Nude in Paradise (2001)
12345678910
Not Rated
A little over the top, which is why it is on my list.
The Straight Story (1999)
12345678910
Odd, but only in contrast to this filmmaker's total filmography
Fast, Cheap, & Out of Control (1997)
12345678910
4 unique professions, 4 unique persons, 1 special interwoven narrative
Lost in La Mancha (2002)
12345678910
Terry Gilliam's unsuccessful odyssey to make Don Quixote. Truth is often stranger then fiction, and this documentary about the whole disaster that always seems to plague all Gilliam projects makes for fascinating viewing. Offbeat, unreal, and true.
Tron (1982)
12345678910
Visually stunning, the imagery was way ahead of it's time. Surprisingly up-to-date, if not a little slow at times. The incredible colours that were used includes this film into my list
The Office: First Series (2001)
12345678910
Quirky mockumentary. It initially seems banal, but scratch the surface...
The Office: Second Series (2001)
12345678910
More of the same, and just as good. Good decision to kill if after the 2nd series to keep it in the "unique league" a la Fawlty Towers.
Mau Mau Sex Sex (2000)
12345678910
Not Rated
Stylish (kinda) sleazy, needs more booty shots to push the point, but certainly candid oddness.
The Omega Man (1971)
12345678910
Somehow a happy jazz soundtrack works with zombies and mass death. Who would have guessed?
Videodrome (1982)
12345678910
Not Rated
Video=Internet. Tell me it ain't so...
Bubble (2005)
12345678910
It went completely under the radar, very sublime mood and sense of tension. Highly underrated...
La Cravate (1968)
12345678910
Not Rated
A heady experience, excuse the pun... lovely minimal cinema.
Harold and Maude (Criterion) (1971)

  Kill the mother.
Tokyo Trash Baby (2000)
12345678910
Do not throw a used condom around...
Three ... Extremes (Disc 1 of 2) (2004)
12345678910
Baby cuts in box. Trust me, you'll know what I mean when you see these 3 gloriously photographed little oddities...
What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)
12345678910
Burger Barn food makes you fat.
