Wing Chun (1994)

possibly my favorite movie of all time. tofu fight scene is to die for. and the foot bath thingie...?
Shopping for Fangs (1997)
12345678910
brilliantly kooky. my favorite line is: "remember when i used to be bossy?" and john cho rocks (in a cute-sensitive-floppy-hair kinda way).
The Celebration (1998)
12345678910
Rashomon (Criterion Collection) (1951)
12345678910
one of the best movies of all time. watch this. now.
Bagdad Cafe (1987)
12345678910
love this movie. love the haunting jevetta steele song in the background. stumbled across (evidently) the location for the film ages ago -- it was one of those surreal gorgeous moments that makes life seem more interesting than it is. the movie's like that too.
Tampopo (1986)
12345678910

just thinking about this movie makes my mouth water. be sure to have noodles nearby for after.
The Wedding Banquet (1993)
12345678910
  classic ang lee.
Bound (1996)
12345678910
why is the sexiest dyke flick out there not made by a chick? oh well. great movie.

12345678910
  classic daniel day lewis.
Edward II (1992)
12345678910
gorgeous and lush in its austerity. i'd see it again and again just for the annie lenox bit.
Set It Off (1996)
12345678910
far from being perfect, and has some troubling elements. BUT the queen as a big ole bulldyke, plus an all-black-female story that's not just about cooking or marriage or babies?...worth seeing.
Brazil (Criterion Collection) (1985)
12345678910
one of the best movies of all time. there was a time i watched this twenty times in one week, i've never been the same since... now i've grown up and become harry tuttle. howsabout them apples?
Time Bandits (1981)
12345678910
  messed up and cool.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
12345678910
weakness in me for gorgeous, lush, kung fu with no guns/swords...
Crooklyn (1994)
12345678910
alfre woodard rocks. good somewhat sentimental fare.
Being John Malkovich (1999)
12345678910
twisted, weird, kinda sorta queer. plus john cusak. what's not to like?
Down by Law (Criterion Collection) (1986)
12345678910
tom waits. jim jarmusch. wackiness insues.
