Neon Genesis Evangelion Collection 0:1 (1995)
12345678910
I have this version of Eva in my list only because I bought these 4 episodes 3 freaking times! Once on VHS and twice on DVD. If that's not dedication I don't know what is.
Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum: 01 (1995)

Don't rent, OWN this set! What are you waiting for?
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (1997)
12345678910
The first movie which is mainly for the hardcore Eva fan. There are slightly new snippets of animation thrown in here and there in the first episode. But the Second episode is the setup to the next movie, End of Eva.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (1997)
12345678910
Not Rated
Manga Ent. somehow got the rights to the Eva movies so, of course a few years after the dubbing of the regular series we are missing voice actors that couldn't be convinced to return. I'd highly suggest simply watching the movies in the original Japanese.
Mortal Kombat (1995)
12345678910
One of the first successful video game movies. I remember being young and addicted to the bloody game play; the magic of the movie was even better than what I was expecting. Especially after the God-awful Mario Bros. movie.
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997)
12345678910
Incredibly bad compared to the original movie only because they had to use EVERY Frigg'n character that was added in the sequels of the video game. But on the upside, the fighting choreography is very solid and entertaining. I just wouldn't pay attention to the plot, if you can call it that.
Stargate (Ultimate Edition) (1994)
12345678910
A very cool concept that made a mediocre Sci-Fi movie, but spawned an excellent, long running syndicated series. Worth having for historical purposes.
Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (1995)
12345678910
The first Dvd I ever bought! The animation is dated, but is still very watchable and the fighting between the classic characters is fast paced and exciting! (Watch for flying couches!)
Street Fighter Alpha (2000)
12345678910
Not Rated
I bought this being the huge SF fan that I am solely based on the prospect of seeing Ryu and Akuma duke it out because that is what was implied in the trailer. I was incredibly pissed off when all was show was a little tussle between the two legendary fighters.
Street Fighter Alpha: Generations (2005)
12345678910

Worse than the previous volume.. My hopes were too high, thinking that this would redeam the sorry story and lazy animation put on by the last Alpha dvd.
Devil Hunter Yohko Collection 1 (Disc 2 of 2) (2002)
12345678910
A cute story of a young girl who is next in her family's line to start exterminating Demons. Has the ever popular sexy/flashy transformation sequence!
Devil Hunter Yohko Collection 1 (Disc 1 of 2) (2002)
12345678910
If you enjoyed the first disc, you'll like this. The main character gains an understudy after the first 1 or 2 story arcs.
Devil Hunter Yohko Collection 2 (1990)
12345678910
Would have liked to see this series continue on.
Donnie Darko (2001)
12345678910
Your above average dark lonely teenager story smartly mixed with a twist of time travel. (I loved the Smurf conversation! haha!)
Mission to Mars (2000)
12345678910
I don't understand why this movie has such a low rating. The atmosphere and the realistic sets are amazing even if the story is a little slow.
Spriggan (1998)
12345678910
Action Packed, but hard to really connect with the main character.
The Super Milk-Chan Show Vol. 1: 100% Whole (2000)
12345678910

Oh Crap! Why the hell did I buy this?!! It'z not funny and not even worth a second glance. DO NOT BUY!
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 1 (Disc 1 of 2) (2000)
12345678910
The show that MADE Adult Swim. Either own it or just hear about it. New Episodes in December!!!
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 2 (Disc 1 of 2) (2000)
12345678910
By the second volume they've pretty much given up the "detective" aspect of our comedic heroes.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 3 (Disc 1 of 2) (2000)
12345678910
The Extras alone are worth the price of this set!
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 4 (Disc 1 of 2) (2000)
12345678910
I see the discription for the Aqua Teens is completly out dated. Detectives solving crime? They haven't done that in years!
Fight Club (1999)
12345678910
The Ultimate man movie. You should own the two disc set. The extras are... clever.
Akira (Special Edition) (1988)
12345678910
A classic and a master piece. It's also confusing, but pushed what animation could do at the time it was made.
Clerks Uncensored (Disc 1 of 2) (2000)
12345678910
Excellent commentary by the man himself (Kevin Smith) for every episode!
Clerks Uncensored (Disc 2 of 2) (2000)
12345678910
Near the end of the commentary, he discusses what other projects he has coming up!
Gasaraki Vol. 1: The Summoning (2000)
12345678910
Just the right amount of political intrigue, military combat, and a well paced plot.
Sleepy Hollow (1999)
12345678910
A remade classic that far surpasses the original written story.
Serial Experiments Lain Vol. 1: Navi (1998)
12345678910
Not Rated
Can ANYONE explain to me what the aliens had anything to do with what was going on??? Aliens aside, a very cool and deep anime that will have you standing on your head.
Excalibur (1981)
12345678910
One of the first movies to include King Arthur and uses many sources to tell the story of the king to one day return when he needed most.
Chobits Vol. 1: Persocom (2003)
12345678910
Not Rated
A kind of cool romatic tale. Plays on the question, what if PCs were robots?
Brotherhood of Wolf (Director's Cut) (2001)
12345678910
Not Rated
An excellent adventure/action flick from France that wanted to be able to take on American action films. They exceeded by including a well known tale that actually happened a little before the french revolution. If you buy it, I recommend the awesome 3-disc Canadian version.
Futurama vol.1 (Disc 1 of 3) (1999)
12345678910
Not Rated
Making lite of the way we view the future, this series should have lasted longer. The advanced technques used for animation are on par with Invader Zim.
Futurama vol.2 (Disc 1 of 4) (1999)
12345678910
Not Rated
From what I've heard, the series is coming back via Comedy Central AND a movie is also in production. Rock on!
Futurama vol.3 (Disc 1 of 4) (2001)
12345678910
Futurama vol.4 (Disc 1 of 4) (1999)
12345678910
Gladiator (2000)
12345678910
What can i say? Except for... Why don't you own it?
Ringu (1998)
12345678910

Much better than the american version. The ability of ESP is explored a bit more and the background story is explained more clearly.
Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer: Rounds 1 & 2 (1996)
12345678910
YES!! This great anime is back and you can rent it! So do it already!
28 Days Later (2002)
12345678910
One of the best Zombie movies I've ever seen.
Appleseed (1988)
12345678910
What can i say? I was expecting a HELL of a lot more than what was really there. Ghost in the Shell this is NOT!!!!!
Martian Successor Nadesico Chronicle 1: Invasion! (2000)
12345678910
A funny little show that takes a little bit from a lot of other shows and brings their issues out in a different light. Go Gekiganger Go!!!!
Ninja Scroll (10th Anniversary Special Edition) (1986)
12345678910
This showed me the peak of what anime could do visually. The blood, the action, and the story all came together flawlessly.
Hellsing Vol. 1: Impure Souls (2002)
12345678910
Not as gritty as the manga, but if your up for a fun (and SHORT) Vampire story give it a shot.
Cast Away (2000)
12345678910
The two disc set was really really cheap at Block Buster, so I got what I paid for.
Sealab 2021: Season 1 (Disc 1 of 2) (2001)
12345678910
Not Rated
Really funny, a pearl in that was in the beginning Adult Swim Line up.
Sealab 2021: Season 2 (Disc 1 of 2) (2002)
12345678910
Season 2 was just as strong as the first.
Sealab 2021: Season 3 (Disc 1 of 2) (2003)
12345678910
Here in Season 3 it really started to fall down hill and I believe that this the season that the actor playing Capt. Murphy died. The series really bombed after that. Rent Vol. 4 at your own risk.
The Matrix (1999)
12345678910
I can remember going to see it in my senior year of High School and it just blew my mind. If only the sequels were as half as good.
Blade (1998)
12345678910
Vampires, swords and blood, hard to beat.
Blade II (2002)
12345678910
The only thing making this worse than the first was the return of Whistler. He DIED! COME ON!
Blade: Trinity (2004)
12345678910
Not Rated
A very good ending to the series. If you want to see what happens to Blade next, check out Spikes Blade TV series, it's actually pretty good, the characters are instresting and the plot moves along at a quick pace.
Major League (1989)
12345678910
The classic that every man has seen more times than he'll admit to.
The Big Hit (1998)
12345678910
A cool little film that I'm sure flew under everyone's radar. Kind of reminds me of a watered down Bourne Identity.
Logan's Run (1976)
12345678910
Everyone has seen Logan's Run, if you haven't, watch it! You're probably missing out on the MANY refrences and jokes made about it.
Iron Monkey (1993)
12345678910
Donnie Yen and Woo Ping? Can't got wrong!
Ninja Resurrection - Revenge of Jubei/Hell's Spawn (2004)
12345678910
Not Rated
Yes, it's an unfinished pile, but the gore is worth it.
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
12345678910
The original uneditted versions of Star Wars will becoming out on DVD at then end of 2006 and that is the version I'll be buying.
Genshiken, Vol. 1: Dojinshi Or Bust (2004)
12345678910
Not Rated
Every Otaku should watch this one. You'll find atleast one character that you can instantly relate with.
Aeon Flux (Disc 1 of 3) (1995)
12345678910
Not Rated
Much better than the live action movie. At the time the style was different and daring!
Blood: The Last Vampire (2001)
12345678910
Not Rated
A purely digital anime; the techy will aprecaite the style of the animation and the indepth extras.
Kung Pow Enter the Fist (2002)
12345678910
Fucking funny! Made using real footage from an early 70's kung fu movie. Any kung fu fan will appreciate this parody.
Resident Evil (2002)
12345678910
I don't care what Xplay says, I liked these movies and can't wait for the third movie to come out.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)
12345678910
Personally, I liked the second one here much better than the first.
