Body Double (1984)
| The film is especially fun to watch when considering an implied film-within-the-film, as the protagonist, Jake, is "directed" by the villain. Melanie Griffith is actually quite funny, the score is killer, courtesy of Pino Donaggio. |

Club Dread (2004)

| I can't understand why the Broken Lizard's first film following their hit, "Super Troopers", didn't get a good response. Hysterical set-ups, colorful characters, and classic lines ("You've manacled me to my death bed, you piccadilly whore!") make for a very enjoyable viewing. |

Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987)

| Original "Death Wish" director Michael Winner bowed out of this sequel, but J. Lee Thompson does a fine job of handling the action. Charles Bronson is always fun to watch, and I think the entire "Death Wish" series is a treat and begs for a marathon. |

John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars (2001)

| Not Carpenter's best work, but the setting is great, and Carpenter keeps the action moving. |

The Golden Child (1986)

| An odd story, but not necessarily bad. Pitting comedian Eddie Murphy against demons actually makes for an amusing feature, especially with Eddie saying things like, "I'd say uh-I, I, I, I, I, I want the knife!" |

Gorgeous (1999)
| An underrated Jackie outing. Not much action, as the movie focuses on the romance that the charming Shu Qi desires. A quiet and cute little story, with scene-stealing Tony Leung Chiu-Wai as Shu Qi's gay friend. |

Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (1982)

| This film might have had a better reception sans the "Halloween" title. A delicious concept of vicious Halloween masks helps, and that "Silver Shamrock" theme is incredibly catchy! |

| Probably Shinya Tsukamoto's least popular film (due to its apparent commercialism), this flick moves quick, with some dark humor and some very creepy moments, in particular with the spider-esque monster. |

| Stylish and much more abstract than concrete. It's really long, but it works as an epic, lyrical feature, or maybe a 2-hour metaphor. |

A Low Down Dirty Shame (1994)
| Perhaps not as hysterial as "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka", but Keenen Ivory Wayans churns out some great one-liners, his sister Kim has a funny cameo, and Jada Pinkett (not Smith back then) is irresistible. "All the dogs on the right go, 'Oo-ah! Oo-ah!'" |

Psycho 3 (1986)

| Star Anthony Perkins grabs a camera and directs a strong entry, creating some gory scenes, a few frights and a clever homage to Hitchcock's "Vertigo". |

| Affleck is surprisingly decent is this fast-paced thriller with exceptional performances from Gary Sinise and Charlize Theron. A nice twist ending, too. |

| Milla Jovovich looks cool, and there are some well choreographed action sequences. Just accept the fact that there isn't much of a plot, and you might enjoy it more. |
