if you like bollywood, you'll like this   on September 10, 2006 - 12:56 AM PDT   of Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995) 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful   this is a bollywood musical, and the story is "kramer vs. kramer" combined with "a star is born". the movie is well-acted, cast well, and both of the stars are quite lovely to look at and listen to. much heartstring tugging. it is a little weird to see scenes *directly* from those two movies (with at least one busby berkley thrown in for good measure)! the slipping in and out of english is fun, too. definitely recommended
