HOW DO I ADJUST MY ADULT BROWSING OPTIONS?
Go to Your Account (the link is on the top right corner of every GreenCine page), or go here. Initially, you will see one option displayed on your account page, "activate adult content". Clicking the link will launch an age verification form which you must submit to continue. Thereafter, you will see two options displayed on your account page: "enable adult content" and "enable adult rentals." These options can be manipulated independently of one another.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE IN ORDER TO LEGALLY VIEW THE ADULT MATERIAL?
You must be at least 21 years of age in order to browse and rent in the Adult section.

CAN I STILL REGISTER FOR GREENCINE IF I'M NOT 21?
You certainly can. You must be at least 18 to register for GreenCine; if you are 18-20, you will have access to all sections of the site, except for the Adult genre and associated adult content.

I LIVE IN A PLACE WHERE THE SHIPPING OF ADULT MOVIES IS NOT ALLOWED. CAN I STILL WATCH MOVIES FROM GREENCINE?
Yes! Although you are not able to rent Adult DVDs, you can still watch certain titles via VOD or DivX - as the states and localities with laws restricting access to Adult material do not have jurisdiction over downloaded content. Please see the WATCH page for a list of downloadable Adult titles.

JUST WHAT CONSTITUTES "ADULT" ANYWAY?
Without getting too detailed here, an Adult movie is any movie that features explicit sexual material.

WHAT HAPPENS TO AN ADULT TITLE IN MY QUEUE IF I DISABLE ADULT RENTAL?
All Adult titles will then automatically be removed from your queue. You will get a warning pop-up window informing you of this, with the chance to either confirm or opt-out.

I HAVE CHILDREN WHO OCCASIONALLY USE MY GREENCINE ACCOUNT. HOW DO I KEEP THEM FROM SEEING ADULT CONTENT IF I DO WANT TO VIEW ADULT TITLES?
You disable Adult content in your GreenCine account settings. This way the titles won't disappear from your queue, but the ability to see Adult content will then be restricted. (You will have to turn Adult browsing back on, of course, if you wish to go back and rent different Adult titles in the future, or if you wish to view the description of a title in your queue.) Keep in mind that your queue is not password protected, however, so anyone who has access to your GreenCine account will be able to view your queue contents and the associated MPAA ratings.

On GreenCine, although we have done our best to create an environment where Adult content is separated out, we advise you to monitor what your child is looking at while on the Internet and restrict access if it is a concern.

WHAT ABOUT OTHER GREENCINE CONTENT RELATED TO ADULT FILMS? Same deal. You will be able to see member reviews and lists associated with Adult content if your "enable adult content" capability setting is "yes".
