What connection speed do I need to view a streaming movie?
Our VOD service is optimized for users with High Speed Internet connection (ISDN, DSL, Cable Modem, LAN, etc.).
The files are encoded in such a way that they stream at faster speeds depending on what your connection
supports.
Is there a way to test out a sample VOD before trying the service?
Yes, there is, and we highly recommend you do so. Go here (or https://www.greencine.com/vodSample). We want you to ensure that the quality is satisfactory before purchasing a movie.
If I stop viewing the movie, how can I resume at a later time?
You will be given a code to access the movie. The code will be displayed in your browser after your order is
processed, as well as a link directly to the movie. It will also be emailed to you within a few minutes of
your order and stored in your Watch Library.
If I buy a movie now, do I have to watch it right away or can I watch it later?
You will be granted enough time to watch the movie from start to finish with some extra time in case of
network difficulties or other exceptional conditions. If you choose to break this time up into segments,
you may do so. The total view time of each session will be counted until all your time is used up, at
which point your access code will expire.
Is it safe to submit my Credit Card information?
Yes, the registration process is secure. All submitted information is encrypted for privacy while in-transit.
What will my Credit Card statement show?
A charge by "GreenCine LLC"
Who do I contact if I experience problems viewing the movie?
Send an email with a description of your problem to
VODsupport@greencine.com. GreenCine Customer Service is available
Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).
I can't get access to the movie anymore. What's the deal?
Most likely, you have used up all of your time for this movie. You will need to purchase it again if you
want to see more.
Do I need any special software to view the stream?
You will need the latest version of Windows Media Player. You can download it
here. Unfortunately, for the moment, most Macs are not supported. Please try the test file to see if VOD will work with your system.
