| At last: a movie truly lives up to all the disdain lumped upon it by critics (and audiences, via their non-attendance). THE WHOLE TEN YARDS is amazing. Everything that was charming, low-key and funny about the original "Nine Yards" is here stretched to the breaking point, revved up to screaming volume, and beaten to within an inch of its life. Then it goes that extra inch. I know, I know: you already saying, "Oh, come on, it can't be THAT bad." It is. Beware. |
