| This movie looks like it was made over a weekend at a cast member's house and probably was. It's very cheap, but kinda fun. A meteorite bearing nasty space tadpoles falls into the backyard of a young horror movie fan (Movie posters cover the walls of his bedroom where he experiments doing amateur SFX). The little creatures slither into his basement, get bigger, and start devouring his relatives. The kid helps his older brother and his friends combat these hungry home invaders. A vegetarian luncheon goes horribly wrong. This movie's major flaw is that we get to see way too much of the monsters. This is always a bad idea especially when the monsters are as cruddy as these, which are just red globs with huge toothy maws. Fantasy artist, Tim Hilderbrandt, who was also the executive producer and played a bit part in the movie, did the poster/vidbox artwork. |
