I liked this better than Run Lola Run

For one it explores the same premise of how small "butterfly wings" can cause great storms, but in my opinion it does it in a much more realistic and interesting way, simply by being less "wild" about it, and spending more time on the development of the characters, which were quite interesting and fun to watch. There are some things that I did not really care about. I am still not sold on Tykwer's directorial style, though it is very interesting to say the least. One thing I did enjoy about this movie was the aesthetic balance of the scenes, and the characters in them. The way the two main women characters had a colour scheme of sorts was a nice touch, and not overdone. The pacing was perfect for my taste. I never found myself losing interesting, but at the same time things were rarely rushed. There were a few scenes where I found myself wishing the camera had just held on a bit longer to capture the flavour of a scene, but nothing major. All in all it was a good story, and it will cause you to think a bit about the consequences of the little things you do, and how these little things impact the world. Everything we know is a culmination of these little things.
