Groucho Marx was one of America's most beloved comic figures, and with his weekly game show You Bet Your Life, the witty funnyman kept television viewers in stitches for 14 years. Now, 40 years after it went off the air, fans can relive all the fun of this classic game show in this feature-packed Shout Factory release. After viewing a rare commercial featuring the Marx brothers, take a look at the shadier side of Marx's with a "Stag Reel" that compiles the raciest moments that were edited out for broadcast. Of course, You Bet Your Life wasn't Marx's only foray onto the small-screen, and viewers can take a look at such other Groucho-hosted game shows as The Plot Thickens (a pilot that was never aired), What Do You Want?, and Tell It to Groucho. Those who are familiar with actress Phyllis Diller may remember that she made her first television appearance on You Bet Your Life, and now fans can hear Diller recall her favorite memories of Marx in a special commentary track. Outtakes and original commercials are also included as is the maiden voyage of the secret word duck. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide.
