| I thought this movie was very well done a lot of levels especially for a movie that is not very known or talked about. They combine some very creepy moments along with humor and it works very well. The idea for the movie is definitely original and surprisingly moves along quite fast- When I first heard about this movie i thought how can they have people driving around for an hour and half?? But its definitely worth a rental! |

| DEAD END is a pretty good creep fest with most of its gore implied rather than shown. (I'd like to think this was done for creative reasons, but probably it was just a low budget.) The cast members, led by Ray Wise (the "Jeepers Creepers" sequel), do an especially good job, considering that they're mostly confined to the inside of an automobile. While the writing wavers but is a bit better than average, the ending is a letdown that you'll probably have figured out long before it arrives. But in movies like this, it's the journey that matters most, and for 4/5's of the trip, this one is fun. |
