Based on Tsutomu Takahashi's (ICE BLADE) popular late-night television horror manga series and directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (VERSUS, AZUMI) SKY HIGH is brought to life in this live-action feature film. Yumiko Shaku stars as Izuko, the Gatekeeper of the Urami no Mon - The Gate of Vengeance - which separates this world from the afterlife. She gives three choices to the dead (who are either victims of murder or accident) that visit her: to abandon their hatred and go forth to the eternal paradise; to not accept their death and wander the world of the living as a ghost; or to avenge themselves but go straight to Hell. This movie is a prequel to the TV series and deepens the story of the Izuko character who used to be an ordinary woman, and details how she became the Gatekeeper of the world between the living and the afterlife.
