"When was the last time you felt your heart race like when you were a kid?" Sawaki is asked this by an old friend he unexpectedly runs into. Something snaps in the law-abiding postman. He goes home and starts opening all the mail. He finds a letter from a woman who says she is dying of cancer, return address "Room 12, Sayoko." Sawaki dedicates himself to finding Sayoko.
