Excellent behind the scenes documentary of a rock band. I'm the same age as the band members and I remember growing up listening to their music. I used to think how great it could be being 16 and touring the world in a band. As you see in this film ;however, it wasn't great for the Runaways.Unfortunately they were a band of teenagers exploited, used and abused by their manager and record company. The film is a real honest, no holds barred behind the scenes look at a group of teenagers who were promised stardom while everyone they trusted screwed them over. It's unfortunate that Joan Jett refused to participate in the film. It would be interesting to hear her side of the story.
