For me the story of Edith and Abby makes this release.
A story that replays itself in this modern age.
The strength of Vanessa Redgrave's performance is not to be overlooked.
Your mileage may vary.
I felt that the story of Fran and Kal was just a star vehicle. There was really nothing of note in that segment. The lack of any struggle creates a sense that equality and acceptance have been achieved.
Yet even 5 years after this release, it remains untrue.
If I were only rating this segment I would give this a 5. |
