| This movie was recommended to me by some friends who know I like mockumentaries. This was nowhere near as funny as others I've seen. It was annoying. |

I love comics, I love superheros, I love quirky movies. I hate the specials. I was expecting a great movie based on the average rating and some other reviews. This movie is horrible. As a mockumentary, the personal interview parts were basically the funniest parts of this movie and that isn't really saying much. I felt like I was watching a showtime porno without the sex. Jokes are lame, swearing superheros gets old, and U.S. Bill is the worst character. I really wish they capitalized on the character 8 more. A character with 8 bodies but one conciousness. Now there is a funny concept that wasn't used as often as i had liked. Overall, this movie seemed like an underdeveloped idea. I would pass on it. |

The cast of this movie is eclectic to be sure. Still all and all, the actors had to be shown a script prior to signing on. The concept was clever enough to find a producer to pay for the catering truck. It's the Mystery Men but this time we're mutants and sad, and we'll have sex and swear. Oh, it's so bad that it's not redeemable as a cult curiousity and it's uncomfortable to see a few talented people take a check for this. |
| I never knew about this movie until now.... |
