This is the final disk in season two, containing episodes 47 - 52 and some extras (still art, music videos, fan art, nothing too exciting). The story stays solid and interesting. The exciting twist about this set of episodes is that the Universe of the Four Gods and the "real world" of Tokyo finally overlap when characters come out of the book... I won't say more without spoiling it for you. Also, Miaki's character stays true and the conclusion of her and Tamahome's romance strongly hints at a next season. One additional note is that I was watching this series in Japanese with English subtitles. I watched a snippet in English and realized that Miaki DOES come across as whiny and ineffective in English, while she comes across as young but valiant in Japanese. So watch it in Japanese. :-)

This DVD contains episodes 40 - 46. My comments for the previous 2 disks in the second season series are still good for this disk -- good, straightforward adventure; nice character growth and friendship; brushes with adult themes.

This DVD contains episodes 34-39, where Miaki and her companions continue their quest in the land of north to find the jewels that will help save the land of the south and take Miaki home to Japan. Unlike the Disc 1 of the second season, these episodes were darker with attempted rape and with silly reasons for Miaki to take her clothes off too many times. These episodes also suffered from less emphasis on the supporting characters, whose personalities offered balance to Miaki's naivity in earlier episodes. However, the adventure is still entrancing and I still recommend this series as a good, straightforward anime.

I have gone throught the entire list of anime that GC has to offer and I have come up with these titles that sounded interesting. I particularly like anime with comedy and action

A variety of anime I've seen that I recommend others see. They are listed alphabetically by series and then in the order recommended for watching them.
