Synopsis
The last thing Kei remembers is his body being run-over by the train. Now he finds himself in a room filled with strangers and the mysterious sphere known only as Gantz. The reprieve from death may be short-lived, however. Unless the group completes the brutal missions that Gantz assigns, no one will live long enough to tell the tale.

There's a potentially fascinating story & setting here...but rather than explore it, the series just keeps plodding along with annoying ranma-style fare like the main character being embarassed about having erections and only the occasional plot-advancing scene. By the third disc I was sick of it. I might read the manga if I can find a translation, but as anime this series just moves too slowly.
