Marmalade Boy: Ultimate Scrapbook Vol. 4 (Disc 1 of 3) (1994)
Miki Koishikawa's world is turned upside down when her parents tell her they are divorcing, swapping partners and are all going to live together under one roof. It's hard enough being a teenager, but dealing with new parents, a cute step-brother and all her friends' problems is almost too much to take! Based on Wataru Yoshizumi's bestselling manga, the Marmalade Boy anime series is one of the most popular shojo stories of all time ... and one of the most eagerly anticipateed US releases of recent years.

Marmalade Boy: Ultimate Scrapbook Vol. 4 (Disc 2 of 3) (1994)
Miki's home life probably couldn't get any more complicated. Her parents come home from vacation and bring with them chaos: they divorce and remarry, switching partners with another couple. To top it off, they decide that the two families should all live together, much to Miki's objections. Now preparing for her new household, the teenager is stopped in her tracks by the appearance of her new step brother, Yuu, who is devastatingly handsome. Could things get any worse? A love triangle develops between Yuu, Miki, and her grade-school sweetheart, Ginta, which in turn becomes a rectangle with the appearance of Arimi, Yuu's ex-girlfriend. This anime develops into a classic shoujo love-dodecahedron as the complicated feelings of students and even teachers try to sort themselves out. The title comes from an early episode in which Miki describes Yuu as similar to marmalade: partly bitter and partly sweet. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide

The series ends on such a great note! Annd they included the movie prequel which was also great. Only question is why didn't TokyoPop add and special features. Was expecting to hear a commentary track with the english voice actors poking fun at the chatacters. Oh well. It was great anyway.
